A worked example: a 3.4 MB scan and the request “compress this scan and turn it into a PDF” are classified as a two-step pipeline, matched to image_compress and text_to_pdf, and returned as a 118 KB PDF.
More than one step
The result of one tool is the input of the next
Ask for two things at once and they run in order. The file handed back by the first tool is passed straight into the second — you never download and re-upload.
A two-step pipeline: a 6.5 MB PNG is compressed to 240 KB, and that file is passed straight into a format conversion, producing a 61 KB WebP.
